Nowadays, it is normal to be wary of new game announcements. Most conferences are no longer incredible attractions. We don't have a stage that is up to the task of hosting a conference that causes as much commotion and mixed feelings as the big days of E3. Credibility is gone. The blemish on game launches is getting bigger and bigger, and it carries the most diverse titles and genres. Just by hearing some names, we already know what is coming. Through several examples, we stop believing what we saw. We are incredulous of believing in graphics, gigantic worlds full of life, thousands of planets at your disposal, trailers of the most varied and well-made. The speech changed each time, but in the end, unfortunately, the proposal was the same. They knew that was not what they were delivering.

Care and commitment have been forgotten, the new normal is superficial, you can count on your fingers all the companies that we can close our eyes to and wait for the game to be released, that we have confidence in what has been created, of course some disappointments can happen, this usually with people who have been following a company for a long time and then suddenly they change direction or make a decision that you disagree with.

We learned that the years of work and effort of all the developers, those who actually make the game, don't have that much power, but those who have the money deliver whatever they want... Risking ruining an entire reputation because of one decision.

Games should not be created just as a means of entertainment and passing the time. Games should be created with the idea that there are millions of people waiting to play a new game, people who are excited and anxious to be able to relive their favorite character, to know the continuation of their story, curious to spend hours exploring a new world. Video games and games are about this. This is what makes them unique: the experience and connection proposed by games cannot be replicated by anything. After all, it is very difficult to find a Lich King to battle in real life.
